SmartPay Incentivises Electronic Billing
SmartPay (enterprise-level online billing system sending large batches of invoices and statements electronically enabling online payment) has announced the addition of a discounting feature to their electronic bill presentment and payment system. The feature allows companies to add incentives to customers that pay their bills in a timely manner. SmartPay gives businesses the ability to send large batches of invoices and statements to customers, as well as receive payments, electronically while integrating with back office accounting systems. With the addition of the discounting feature, businesses can easily offer discounting incentives like 2/10 Net 30. This means customers are awarded a 2% discount if they pay their invoice within 10 days, otherwise they must pay the full amount within 30 days.
